In today’s meeting of the Province-1 Assembly, deliberations focused on various provisions of the Appropriation Bill, 2078 BS. The meeting witnessed deliberation on different headings of the budget appropriated for the Ministry of Social Development.
Taking part in the deliberation, Province Assembly member Om Prakash Sarabagi criticized that the budget was not introduced aligning with the policy and programme and drew the government’s attention for not allocating budget for the Tulasa Hemraj Academy as agreed.
Another member Lok Prasad Sangraula accused the province assembly government of playing with the health of the people by providing sub-standards medicines, inconsistent with the doctor’s prescription in the health insurance.
Among other members taking part in the deliberation were Sandhya Kumari Danuwar, Sabitri Kumari Regmi, Ambika Thapa, Kusum Kumari Shrestha, Bilam karki, Bijaya Kumar Biswas and Sunita Kumari Chaudhary.
Next meeting of province assembly shall take place at 11.30 tm on July 7.
