An organisation, Good Neighbours Nepal, has provided relief materials to families rendered homeless due to flood and landslide in Bandipur.
The organisation distributed relief materials including food stuffs to 58 landslide and flood victim families of Bandipur rural municipality.
Chairperson of rural municipality, Purna Singh Thapa, said that the victims, whose houses were completely damaged by flood and landslide, have also got corrugated sheets.
He shared that corrugated sheets were provided to 21 families of Chepang community of Bandipur-1, 2 and 3 who became homeless after landslide and flood completely damaged their houses.
Each family has got corrugated sheets worth around Rs 45,000. Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality, Mahesh Subedi, said that the rural municipality has been moving ahead joining hands with different organisations in order to support the victims of natural disaster.
