150 new infections added, 609 recover

Altogether 150 new cases of Corona Virus were confirmed in tests carried out in the last 24 hours in the country. Of the 3,963 samples tested, 150 confirmed positive to the virus, said the Ministry of Health and Population.

 

With this, the tally of Corona Virus infection in the country has reached 17,994. Among those confirmed today, the highest was reported in Dhanusa, where 29 people tested positive. Nine people were found carrying the virus in Kathmandu valley.

 

Likewise, 609 people were discharged from various hospitals after recovering from the virus. This takes the total number of people who have recovered to 12,477, which 69.34 per cent recovery rate, said DrJageswarGautam at the regular press meet today. There are 21,704 people quarantined while 5,477 are undergoing treatment in isolation centres.
