The country has reported 372 more COVID-19 cases and 11 deaths in the past 24 hours. The infection cases were recorded after the total 7,911 tests across the country, said the Ministry of Health and Population.
So far, the active infection caseload has hit 9,526 and the death toll from the virus 11,399. Nine hundred eleven infected people have been free from infection in the past 24 hours, taking the recovery figure to 791,269 so far. The recovery rate is 97.4 percent while death rate 1.4 percent.
Lately, 173,059 people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, said the Ministry. Similarly, 8,746 infected people are in home-isolation and 780 in institutional isolation. Likewise, 234 have been admitted into intensive care units and 68 are on a ventilator support.
