Forty-seven more individuals have tested positive for coronavirus in Gandaki state in the last 24 hours.
With this, the number of coronavirus infected people has reached 3,112 in the state, according to Director at Provincial Health Directorate and Spokesperson of Gandaki State Corona Control and Prevention Programme, Dr Binod Bindu Sharma.
Of the new coronavirus infected people, 20 are from Nawalparasi (East from Bardaghat Susta), 12 from Syangya, nine from Tanahun, three from Kaski and one each from Gorkha, Lamjung and Manang, according to the Directorate.
PCR test of 718 people was carried out in the last 24 hours. Of them, coronavirus was confirmed in 48 people. Of 48 coronavirus infected people, one person lost his life.
