5.7-MAGNITUDE QUAKE HITS SOUTH-EAST OF SARANGANI, PHILIPPINES — USGS

NEW YORK, An earthquake, measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale, jolted 163 km south-east of Sarangani, Philippines, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 40.93 km, was initially determined to be at 4.5744 degrees north latitude, and 126.6861 degrees east longitude.-- NNN-XINHUA
