Amicus curie completes its opinion on HoR dissolution

The amicus curie formed to help the Supreme Court (SC) on the case filed against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR), completed presenting its opinions on Friday.

The Amicus Curiae comprising senior advocates Badri Bahadur Karki, Satish Krishna Kharel, Bijaya Kant Mainali, Purna Man Shakya and Geeta Pathak offered their views and opinions on the matter to help the Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR-led five-member Constitutional Bench.

Senior Advocate Pathak presented her views on Friday. She argued that the Constitution of Nepal does not allow the Prime Minister to dissolve the HoR.
