Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Poudel on Saturday said concerned authorities should provide a special focus on the conservation of government heritages.
He rued that there has not been a minimum use of plant study centers and parks which would have long term effects on the state’s economy.
The Chief Minister was speaking in course of the monitoring and inspection of Brindaban Park at Hetauda-13. He stressed the need for devising a plan to conserve and make a maximum use of vegetation by such plant research centers.
The State government wanted to process and export medicinal herbs to foreign countries, he said adding that the government was ready to cooperate with the federal government for the conservation of medicinal herbs.
Likewise, acting vice chairperson of the State Policy and Planning Commission Shyam Basnet said the State has made a plan to create job opportunities and get economic benefits by investing in medicinal herbs and processing.
