Chairman Dahal pays tribute to late Prof Dr Shrestha

Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said he was saddened by the demise of party's former central advisor Prof Dr Ramman Shrestha.

Chairman Dahal paid tribute to the departed soul and extended condolences to the bereaved family members. Late Shrestha was central advisor to then CPN (Maoist Centre). Also the former member of the National Assembly, he died at his residence in Kathmandu. He was 82.

Moreover, Shrestha was Professor of mathematics at Tribhuvan University, former president of TU Teachers' Association, former chairperson of Nepal Intellectuals' Council and rector at TU.

He had been then member of the National Assembly from CPN UML in 2054BS.
