Chief Minister of Gandaki State Prithvi Subba Gurung has directed the people’s representatives to work in favour of people.
In a joint discussion meeting organized by Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Lamjung at Beshisahar on Sunday, the Chief Minister asked the people’s representatives to work as per the need of the people who have suffered from flood, landslide and COVID-19.
He pointed out the need of ensuring presence of three-tier of governments knowing the sentiments of the people since they are directly connected with the local government.
The Chief Minister further said that it was necessary to keep good coordination between the party and government as well as to establish relation between party and people’s representatives more systematic.
He said that the state government was working to ensure power supply, clean drinking water, education and health to the people in the districts of the State.
Meanwhile, laying a foundation stone for Puranokotgadhi View Tower and Shanti Stupa, Chief Minister Gurung said the State government was active in protection and conservation of historic, religious and tourism sites.
The attention of the State government has been drawn in promotion of the State as there are many historic, religious and tourism sites. The view tower and Stupa is going to be constructed at around 10 ropani of land at the cost of Rs 48.1 million.
