Chief Minister Pokhrel’s Republic Day message

Web Desk May 28, 2020     No Comment     General

Chief Minister of State-5, Shankar Pokhrel, has said may the Republic Day inspire all to be united and move ahead towards establishing sustainable peace, good governance and building a prosperous nation through the federal democratic governance system.

He said this in a message of best wishes on the occasion of the Republic Day today. Chief Minister Pokhrel has greeted all the Nepali citizens at home and abroad on the occasion. He also paid tributes to all the known and unknown martyrs who laid down their valuable lives in the communist movement and the democratic movement of Nepal.

Noting that establishment of the republic has vested the sovereignty fully in the people, Chief Minister Pokhrel said the republic is not only a system of government but also the people’s lifestyle as it has established the sovereignty of the citizen.

He expressed the confidence that the people’s aspirations for development and prosperity would be fulfilled with the gradual institutionalisation of the federal democratic republic.

Chief Minister Pokhrel has also appealed to all the political parties, organisations, civil servants, media persons and the general public of the State on this historic occasion of the Republic Day to resolve to contribute from their respective places to the great campaign of building a prosperous nation through building a prosperous province.
