Karnali province Chief Minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has said that six key areas should be focused on for the development of the province.

According to him, the six areas to focus on are road, electricity, thinking, forest, market and management.

The Chief Minister said this while addressing a dialogue entitled 'Prosperous Karnali- Five Years of Development' here today. He said all the three tiers of the government should pay attention to these sectors for a developed and prosperous Karnali. He added that Karnali's face can be changed if we pay attention to these six sectors.

"All these aspects of development should be implemented in each and every settlement in the province for changing the face of Karnali province which is rich in natural resources. We need not look up to others for the development of our province if we do that," he said.

He also stressed that the people should be given the credit for all the good works like construction of roads, electricity, irrigation, buildings and sanitation facilities that have been carried out.

Chief Minister Shahi called for positive thinking and cooperation from all sides for the development and prosperity of Karnali.
