Chief Minister of State 5, Shankar Pokhrel, has said that a strong nation could not develop until the intellects think about their state.
Chief Minister Pokhrel said so while addressing the 32nd anniversary of 'Dainik Lumbini' published from Lumbini here today.
On the occasion, he argued that most of the media in Nepal have failed to enhance their quality.
CM Pokhrel pointed out the gaps of the media, saying that getting hurry to provide conclusion and opinion rather than information, making delay or making negligence in information collection are the main problems of the media.
He said, Media should not make opinion. It should provide information to the people to draw conclusion and opinion themselves.
The Chief Minister asked the media persons to remain silent if they could not say right things as the right.
Pointing out the need of building tourism infrastructures to attract tourists, CM Pokhrel said foreign tourists will visit Nepal only if we visit different places of the country first.
