CM Poudel, Bharatpur Mayor Dahal hold talks in containing pandemic

Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Poudel has said that he was eager to know the current situation and development of Corona Special Hospital of Bharatpur in Chitwan district.

 

During a meeting with Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal and Hospital’s Chairperson Dr Bhojraj Adhikari in his office in Hetauda today, CM Poudel expressed his concerns on recent reports on stealing of equipment from the hospital.

 

Responding the query of CM Poudel, Mayor Dahal clarified that the equipment were not stolen however they were transferred to other places.

 

Mayor Dahal and Chairperson Adhikari were invited to discuss on possible measures to be adopted to contain the pandemic as cases of infection were on the rise across the country including in the State.

 

On the occasion, Mayor Dahal asked for additional budget from the State Government to set up isolation beds and purchase PCR machine.

 

In response, CM Poudel expressed his readiness to support the Metropolitan City for the containment of the virus.
