Web Desk August 30, 2020     No Comment     General

Chief Minister of Sate-2, Lalbabu Raut, has expressed the commitment not to leave any stone unturned to prevent and control coronavirus infection.

Addressing a coordination meeting of COVID-19 Risk Reduction at Lahan in Siraha on Sunday, Chief Minister Raut opined that the State Government was ready to adopt all measures to control coronavirus.

He said that PCR machines to test coronavirus have been installed in Janakpur, Birgunj and Rajbiraj in the first phase and budget has been allocated to purchase corona test machine in eight districts of the State.

The Chief Minister further said that process has begun to purchase 50 ventilators.  He said, “The State Government has adopted every measure to save lives of infected people as it is the responsibility of the government.”

Saying that the State Government has focused its full attention to prevent and control the coronavirus, the Chief Minister argued that needed amount of money has been sent to make arrangement of ambulance and hearse vans in all district hospitals.

Stating that coronavirus infection was spreading in the districts of State-2 due to free mobility of people from the bordering areas, he opined that the situation went out of control due to some weaknesses even after taking efforts to control it.

Similarly, Social Development Minister of the State, Nawal Kishor Sah, said the State Government has been moving ahead by coordinating with federal and local governments to rein in the spread of the virus.
