Partners in the incumbent government have discussed current subjects including the government's common policies and programmes.
The first meeting of the taskforce formed to facilitate operation of the government on Friday reviewed political appointments by the previous caretaker government and discussed next programmes of the incumbent government, said the taskforce coordinator Purna Bahadur Khadka.
"Only issues in principle were discussed at the meeting," he said.
The taskforce was formed three days ago under the leadership of Nepali Congress General Secretary Khadka.
Its other members are NC leaders Dr Minendra Rijal and Ramesh Lekhak from the NC, leaders Barsha Man Pun and Dev Gurung from the Maoist Centre and leaders Rajendra Shrestha and Mahendra Raya Yadav from the JSP.
