The sixth national conference of health and population scientists is to take place on coming Monday and Tuesday.
The conference is being organised by Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) and 32 various research-based papers will be presented and discussed.
Council’s senior research officer Dr Meghnath Dhimal said the conference will be conducted virtually through Zoom due to the COVID-19. He shared that the conference has been organised with the objective of supporting the government in formulation of health and population policy with the help of the conclusions drawn from the study and research in these fields.
Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal is scheduled to inaugurate the conference. The council has been organising the conference every year. Around 500 scientists will be participating in the event.
