A coronavirus infected person has died while under treatment at Bharatpur Hospital today. The 47-year-old person from Bharatpur metropolitan City, ward number 1, was admitted to the hospital on Friday. He was suffering from fever, cough and respiration issues, Hospital's information officer Liladhar Poudel said.
The patient had tested positive for coronavirus the same day he was admitted. He died this evening at the COVID ICU.
With this, the number of people dead due to COVID-19 in Chitwan district has reached 32. Out of the 32 persons, five died in home isolation.
