Twelve people died of Corona Virus in the past 24 hours. This takes the death toll to 11,243 to date.
Likewise, 785 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the same period. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, it was revealed in 12,195 tests carried out in various laboratories across the country.
With the new addition, there are 14,787 active infected cases of COVID-19 across the country. There are eight districts with more than 500 cases and 20 districts with more than 200 cases. There are more than 500 infected districts in Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski and Rupandehi. The infection rate is 18.7 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 888 people have recovered. The number of people who recovered from the infection in Nepal so far is 776,831. The recovery rate is 96.8 percent at present.
Today, 127,532 people have been vaccinated against the COVID-19. So far, 8,317,902 have received the first dose while 6,462,776 have got full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
