COVID-19: Coronavirus infected individuals found in Rolpa too

Three persons were tested positive for coronavirus in the district of Rolpa for the first time.

 

The three people of Sunil Memorial Rural Municipality were found infected. With this, all 11 districts in State-5 have the infected cases, as Ropla was an exception prior to the newly-reported cases.

 

The infected ones are 20 and 25 years old youth from ward-5 while another is 20-year-old youth from ward-6 of Sunil Memorial Rural Municipality, said Public Health Officer Anil KC.

 

They had recently returned home from India and were kept under quarantine facility at Janajyoti Secondary School.

 

According to Arun Bhittu, COVID-19 focal person in the district, altogether 1,476 persons had recently returned home from different Indian cities.
