DAO finding hard to manage increasing crowd

The District Administration Office in Doti has been facing an increasing number of service recipients, rising fear of spread of Corona Virus. Around 200 people arrived to the office daily, for various services.

Many people coming without wearing a mask have been returned and barred from entering the DAO premises.

People coming for relief support provided to landslide and flood survivors, citizenship certificate and national identity card is increasing every day, said Chief District Officer Bhim Prasad Bhattarai. Most of them are coming for citizenship certificate including a majority of the students who recently passed the Secondary School Examinations.

At least 90 to 100 people are coming daily for citizenship certificate as of late, said section officer Shiva Kumar Rai. The opening of enrollment for various higher academic degree including for the Seti Technical School in Dipayal has spurred the number of students seeking their citizenship certificate.
