Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Krishna Chandra Pokharel Nepali has pointed out that the country would be developed through religious tourism. The Gandaki Province is rich in religious tourism and the province government was always at work for the development of religious spots of the province, the Chief Minister said at the concluding ceremony of Birat Gyan Mahayagya on Saturday at Hanuman Temple at Gaidakot in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purva).

The province having religious and touristic sites--Muktinath and Trivenidham—have added to its economic development, he said, adding that other important religious sites—Gajendra Mokshyadham and Devghat—have been put on the government's priority.

Similarly, coordinator of the Mahayagya main organising committee Tikaram Sapkota, also the chairperson of the Hanuman Temple Chakraghat Committee, said efforts would be into place to develop the temple as a tourism destination as per its master plan.
