Discussion is to be held among top leaders of ruling party and major opposition party regarding contemporary issues including appointment to vacant posts of constitutional commissions on Thursday.
A meeting held between Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Nepal Communist Party, KP Sharma Oli, and executive Chairperson of the NCP, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ this morning determined the meeting with top leaders of opposition party along with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba for Thursday, shared Deputy-Leader of the NCP Parliamentary Party, Subas Chandra Nembang.
The chair duo has already taken determination to make government’s and party’s activities more systematic and effective by issuing intra-party circular after conclusion of standing committee meeting.
PM Oli’s press advisor Surya Thapa said that today’s meeting between the chairman duo is part of regular discussion and meeting.
Process of the appointment to vacant posts would be forwarded after discussion between the government and ruling party at a time when posts of Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, some commissioners of constitutional bodies including Election Commission, vice-chancellor and office-bearers of some universities have remained vacant.
