An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale rocked Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) in Indonesia Tuesday, according to the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG).
It said the quake, the epicentre of which was 106 km southeast of Kupang, NTT, at a depth of 10 km, occurred at 2.08 pm East Indonesian time (3.08 pm in Malaysia).
BMKG said the quake did not trigger any tsunami.
So far, there had been no report of people having been injured or killed or damage to property, it added.
