Encroached national forest land to be recovered

Chief Minister of State 2, Lalbabu Raut has said the land belonging to the community forest that has been encroached at various places would be recovered.

He said so in a discussions with the chiefs of various bodies held at Choharba of Golbazaar Municipality in Siraha district today.

The Chief Minister vowed that the State government shall return back the encroached land belonging to the community forests.

“Nobody can encroach on the state property and the state government would not allow this to happen. The public land that has been encroached upon through machination in the past would be freed of encroachment,” he said.

He directed the bodies concerned to return the encroached land without any delay and that the state government was ready to take any required decision to this end. The Chief Minister also directed the authorities concerned to initiate action against those encroaching on public land through foul means.
