Clean water is essential to everyday life. In North Dhading following the 2015 earthquakes many communities lost their safe water supply. On a recent visit to UMN's partner projects there, our Executive Director, Joel Hafvenstein, was happy to sample the water from newlycompleted taps (dhara) in several villages and schools. In total 417 taps have been installed through the Dhading Disaster Response Program (DDRP), benefitting nearly 950 households.
