Ex-Opposition Chief Urges Park to Transfer Authority to New Prime Minister

nepalnewsgazette.com October 31, 2016     Comment Closed     Trading

Former chief of the main opposition Democratic Party Moon Jae-in has called on President Park Geun-hye to hand over her full authority to a new prime minister chosen by the National Assembly.

Moon made the call on Monday, in a posting on his social networking service(SNS) account, saying that a new Cabinet should be formed under the recommendation of a new prime minister.

The former opposition chief said the ruling Saenuri Party's proposal of forming a neutral Cabinet is a shallow trick to get through the crisis.

Moon added that President Park and the ruling party must offer a sincere apology to the people and seek forgiveness.
