Family members of a six-year-old girl who was tested positive for COVID-19 have been tested negative for the virus.
Grandparents of the infected girl of Thakurpur from Banganga Municipality-4 in Kapilvastu district were tested negative for the infection, said the Municipality Deputy Mayor Chakrapani Aryal.
The girl may have contracted the infection during her treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, it has been said. She was admitted to the hospital on May 9 after suffering throat problems. Now, she is receiving treatment at the hospital and her health condition is normal, said the hospital.
