China's embassy in Seoul snubbed officials Thursday from the union representing most of South Korea's fishermen.
A delegation from the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives is demanding Beijing crack down on illegal Chinese fishing in Korean waters, and violent attacks against Korean fishing vessels and the Korean Coast Guard.
Federation officials put a list of demands in the embassy mailbox after Chinese diplomats refused to meet them face to face.
The fisheries union had staged a public rally on the issue outside its headquarters earlier in the day.
