Thirty-five journalists are being honoured with anti-Corona fellowship journalism award for their role in disseminating awareness-oriented news report amidst the high risk of Corona virus infection.
The award is being presented in joint collaboration with the NRNA Australia and Federation of Nepali Journalist. The 35 awardees were selected on the basis of 285 news reports received as per a call for submission.
The award includes a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a letter of citation. The awardees includes among others Iswari Baral (Thaha network, Kathmandu), Prakash Pant (BBC Nepal Sewa, Surkhet), Purna Chandra Ghimire (Radio Nepal, Kathmandu), Binu Timsena (Nepal Television, Morang), Indra Prasad Poudel (Kantipur television, Kaski), Narendra Manandhar (Image Channel, Kathmandu), Srijana Baral (Himalya TV, Australia), Bijju Maharjan (Kantipur daily), Daman Rai (Nagarik daily, Khotang), Fatima Banu (Kantipur daily, Kathmandu).
