Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokhrel, has said religious and cultural festivals foster national unity. They also help in maintaining harmony and tolerance in society.

Giving a message of best wishes on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr, a festival celebrated by the Muslim community, today, CM Pokhrel hoped the festival would inspire everyone to make the country peaceful and prosperous by enhancing fraternity, love and unity. Nepali is rich in cultural and religious diversity, he reminded.

The religious tolerance in Nepal is exemplary, he mentioned.
