Flight attendant Dangol climbs Mt Everest

Senior flight attendant Unika Dangol has scaled the Sagarmatha (Mount Everest). She set her foot atop the world's highest peak on May 16 at 7:30 am (local time), according to the Himalaya Airlines for which she works.

A team of Thamserku Treks and Expedition accompanied her to the top of the Mount Everest. Earlier, Dangol had climbed three mountains, Mera Peak, Island Mountain and Lobuche.

Meanwhile, the Airlines welcomed Dangol who arrived at Kathmandu on Friday itself after her ascent of the peak.

Congratulating Dangol and her mountaineering team, the Airlines Chair Jho Angyong said it was a proud moment and an achievement for the entire Airlines to have its staff having scaled the world's highest peak.
