The government has focused on extending the foreign policy based on mutual benefit and respect by keeping national interest in centre.
While presenting the policy and programmes at the joint session of federal parliament on Friday, President Bidya Devi Bhandari said the foreign relations would be extended on the basis of UN charter, Non-alignment and principles of Panchasheel.
The government is conducting the foreign relations being guided by the principles of Panchasheel with due respect of sovereign equality, territorial integrity, national unity, protection of national border for the welfare of the citizens.
The incumbent government is adopting the relations with foreign nations on the basis of sovereign equality, non-aggression, peaceful co-existence, mutual benefit and working together on mutual goals and common interests.
