The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Prachanda-Nepal has stated that its scheduled protest programme for Friday would be peaceful.
The party’s central struggle committee, issuing a press release today, has stated that the protest would be peaceful responding to the rumors that the protest would be violent.
The committee coordinator and party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha stated that they were alert that some people were trying to divert the mind of people by spreading the rumors that the protest would be violent.
The party has mobilized 2,000 volunteers to make the protest rally and programme disciplined and peaceful, press release reads.
The party has been organizing various protest programmes against the government’s move of Parliament dissolution.
