Government decides to give public holiday on two days a week

The government has decided to give regular public holidays for two days in a week, beginning from upcoming May 15.

The decision shall remain as a trial basis.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers on April 26 took a decision to this effect and government Spokesperson and Communications and Information Technology Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki shared information about this today. As the Minister said, the meeting agreed to fix 9:30 am to 5:30pm as office hours a day and grant holidays for two days in a week.
