Senior leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Jhalanath Khanal has said that India should not encroach upon the land of Lipulek since it is Nepal's territory since time immemorial.
At a programme at Khadichaur in Sindhaupalchowk on Saturday, the former Prime Minister expressed dissatisfaction towards Indian government's move to include Nepal's territory in its political map. The (Nepal) government needs to release a map sooner by incorporating Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Lipulek, Khanal viewed.
On the occasion, Khanal also argued that the incumbent government was working to orient towards socialism while noting all political parties should come under the ambit of constitution and those not coming would lag behind.
On a separate context, Khanal said that the recently-held second central committee meeting of the NCP has disseminated the message of a strong party after its unification. ---
