Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government protection of child rights and ensuring their welfare was in the government’s priority.

In a message of best wishes to the guardians and children in the country and abroad on the occasion of National Child Rights Day on Monday, Prime Minister Oli mentioned that the government was formulating and implementing laws and policies for protecting the child rights as per the constitutional provision.

He committed to book the culprits of heinous crimes against children and provide the guardianship to them.

The government has a clear policy to ensure quality education with patriotism, humanity, social entrepreneurship by using high technology and providing them with a balanced diet, reads the message.

The Prime Minister further argued that the lone effort of the federal government to create harmonious family and social environment to the children would not be enough. He has called upon all three-tier of governments, civil servants, political parties, developmental partners and private sectors to cooperate in this aspect. Prime Minister Oli has further appealed to the guardians, families and society to disseminate positive vibes and ensure knowledge and optimism to the children.
