The government is providing Rs 400 thousand each to winners of the Three Nations Cup Football Championship.

Nepal won the title of Three Nations Cup Football by defeating Bangladesh 2-1 in the final match held at Tripureshwor-based Dasharath Stadium on Monday.

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, told RSS that a meeting of the Council of Ministers held this morning decided to provide Rs 400 thousand each to the winner players.

Sanjog Rai and Bishal Rai scored two goals for Nepal. Nepal had won the title in its home ground after 37 years.

Nepal received 5,000 US dollars with the title. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had reached Dasharath Stadium to encourage the Nepali players.

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has already announced to provide Rs 100 thousand each to the Nepali players.
