Health sector first priority: CM Batta

Chief Minister at Sudurpaschim State, Trilochan Bhatta, has said the State government would allocate budget giving first priority to the health sector.

 

Addressing the deliberation at State Assembly on policy and programmes today, CM Bhatta said in addition to health sector, the government prioritizes agriculture and employment generation at local.

 

According to him, efforts were on to set up an infectious disease hospital in the State. The policy and programmes are not only in letters but would be implemented fully in practice. Employments would be generated for the home returnees at local levels. They can be given the works for local development activities, he added.

 

Similarly, Sudurpaschim State is for raising settlement in the area near the international border, launching programmes to elevate their lifestyle and ensuring security. The federal government would be urged to forward the West Seti project with the collaboration of local and State governments, he further shared.

 

The budget for the coming fiscal year would be allocated being based on the demands of State Assembly members. “The budget this year would be allocated in a transparent manner which would address the development plans of all people in the State,” he vowed.
