HoR passes condolence motion over Chaudhary’s demise

Today’s meeting of the House of Representatives has passed a condolence motion over the demise of former lawmaker Duryodhan Prasad Singh Chaudhary.

 

The meeting unanimously passed the condolence motion presented by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota.

 

Chaudhary was elected a lawmaker from Rupandehi constituency-1, representing Nepali Congress. He died on May 22 at the age of 70. He died while undergoing treatment at Butwal-based Gautam Buddha Heart Hospital.

 

The condolence motion reads, “The HoR extends deep sorrow over the demise of Chaudhary. Wishing for the eternal peace of the departed soul, the meeting expresses condolences to the bereaved families.”

 

Next meeting of the HoR will meet at 2:00 pm on Wednesday.

 

Similarly, the National Assembly meeting also passed the condolence motion on the passing away of former lawmaker Chaudhary. Next meeting of the NA has been scheduled at 6:30 pm on May 28.
