Over 45 international students attended an induction session for newly arrived students to Australia at the Nepal consulate office on Sunday, 17 February.
Three presentations introduced students to their obligations and dealing with their education provider (by RTO quality and compliance expert, Sudhir Shakya; road and water safety (by civil engineer, Nirajan Gauli), and overseas health cover and dealing with insurance companies (by Raj Sharma).
NonResident Nepalese Association (NRNA) Victoria Coordinator, Keshav Kandel, welcomed students and spoke of NRNA Victoria's commitment to educating international students on their rights, obligations and safety. The program was MC'd by NRNA Secretary, Gautam Lamicahnne, and concluded by Youth Coordinator, Suman Adhikari.
