A team of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested chief of Dhanusha Land Revenue Office Sunil Kumar Jha with bribe this morning.
The team from CIAA Bardibas Office caught Jha with a bribe Rs 500,000 received from a service-seeker. He was arrested from a tea shop at Bhanuchowk in Janakpurdham.
Acting on a tip off, the designated team had caught chief Jha. Further investigation into the case is underway, said Bardibas Office Chief Gopal Kuamr Adhikari. ---
