Construction of development projects affected by the nationwide lockdown have resumed following permission from the Jumla district administration office allowing more than 18 projects to reopen.

Local levels and concerned sector have been allowed to resume development work after adopting safety measures over coronavirus and following lockdown, said Chief District Officer Durga Banjade.

The DAO granted permission to resume halted development projects acting on requests by construction entrepreneurs. Only high necessary projects and those that could be completed within this current fiscal year, 2076/77 are allowed to resume, said the DAO.

Following this, construction of Nagma-Rara road has resumed, said the road division office.
