Madi municipality to purchase Corona testing kits by itself

Web Desk May 19, 2020     No Comment     Health & Safety

The Madi Municipality has decided to purchase COVID-19 testing kits on its own.

The municipality decided to purchase such kits with an objective of testing for COVID-19 to the new entrants from neighbouring India and other third countries.

Mayor at the Municipality Thakur Dhakal shared that they have allocated one million rupees for the purpose.  He added that about 4,200 individuals from the municipality are abroad and if only 25 per cent return home then they have to be tested and put into quarantines. Hence, the kits are being managed.
