MCC to be discussed in today’s House meeting

A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place at 1:00 pm today. It is said the issue of the US government’s grant assistance MCC would be discussed in the meeting.

According to the business schedule released by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma is scheduled to table a proposal seeking general discussions on the MCC.

The other agenda for today’s House meeting is tabling the annual report of the Office of the Attorney General of the fiscal year 2077/078 BS from Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Prior to this, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota had organised a meeting of the business advisory board.

As per the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the lawmakers willing to put their views on the MCC would take part for theoretical discussions after the MCC was tabled in the parliament.
