The government has formed a mechanism to make necessary preparation for the implementation of bilateral and multilateral agreements. The mechanism also works to address resolution of any dispute relating to such agreements. Information to this was shared by government's Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Banskota, at a regular press meet on Thursday.
An eight member mechanism was formed under the coordination of revenue secretary at the Finance Ministry.
The government has made agreements with various countries for augmenting foreign investment in Nepal. The Spokesperson of the government further shared the government decision that a team was formed to study the dispute on trunk and dedicated feeder supply. The study team will furnish the suggestion within 15 days.
Joint Secretary at the Ministry Industry, Commerce and Supply, Dhruba Ghimire, has been assigned to lead Nepali delegation on the Nepal India Joint Task Force meeting relating to petroleum and gas. The meeting is being held in New Delhi for two days from January 12.
