The Second Convocation of Mid-West University is taking place on April 19 at the University's central campus at Kuinepani in Surkhet. The convocation was to take place on March 30 before this but was postponed.

The Mid-West University Office of the Registrar said that University Chancellor and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will chair the convocation programme while Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi will be the Chief Guest.

A citizen of India, Satyarthi is the president of the Global Campaign against Child Labour. The University held its First Convocation in 2017.
