Minister for Forest and Environment Prem Bahadur Ale has directed the officials at the Ministry and line agencies to provide prompt services.
In a meeting with chiefs of different divisions under the Ministry on Thursday, Minister Ale said the services should not be obstructed by the officials. He also directed the Ministry employees to be alert as he had received some negative reports regarding the President Chure Conservation Programme of late.
The Minister however vowed, "Wrong motives and concerns in the name of Chure conservation will not be tolerated."
On the occasion, officials urged the Minister to bring the district forest officer (DFO) under the federal government as complications were surfaced while they were working under the province governments.
