Minister Poudel underscores sports for discipline

Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel asserted that sports are necessary to maintain discipline in society.

At a programme organized by the Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization Nepal (PABSON) in Pokhara on Sunday, Minister Poudel viewed social development could not be imagined without education. It is imperative to develop sports to maintain discipline and good health as well.

Calling for reform in education for progressive development of the country, Minister Poudel highlighted the need to connect education, development of skills and studies with employment. He called for cooperation and collaboration from all quarters to develop education.

Similarly, PABSON Kaski President Mathura Prasad Poudel said that PABSON had emphasized education along with sports.

PABSON Kaski chapter has 102 private boarding schools in Pokhara district having over 75,000 students and over 7,300 staffs and teachers, it was shared.
