Musician Post Malone's private jet has been forced to make an emergency landing in New York after blowing its tyres on takeoff.
"I landed guys. thank you for your prayers. can't believe how many people wished death on me on this website... but not today," Malone wrote on Twitter late Tuesday.
Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, had been travelling from New Jersey to London following an appearance at the Video Music Awards (VMAs), according to footage posted by the rapper's DJ Jeffrey "Smitty" Smith.
"Look at this shit - goddamn!" Smith said in footage posted to Instagram from the tarmac of New York's Stewart International Airport and showing the exploded tyres on the Gulfstream IV's left side.
On Monday, Malone took home song of the year for "rockstar" at New York's VMAs after performing the track with rapper 21 Savage and Aerosmith.
Malone is due to play at England's Reading and Leeds festivals on Friday and Saturday before travelling to Paris for Sunday's Rock en Seine.
